Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

Categories of consumer health data we collect

Valerdi collects the following on your device: the exercises, sets, repetitions, loads and perceived-effort ratings you record; and, only if you switch it on, sleep duration, heart-rate variability and resting heart rate read from Apple Health or Health Connect.

Categories we collect, by source

• From you directly: the training you record, and any recovery figure you type in by hand.
• From your device, with your permission: sleep, heart-rate variability and resting heart rate, read from Apple Health or Health Connect.

Purposes for collection

• To show you the training session the app has calculated for that day.
• To adjust that session to what you have actually done and how recovered you are.
• To show you your own history and progress.
• To copy your training between your own devices, and only if you turn on syncing.

Categories we share, and with whom

We do not share consumer health data with anyone. Sleep, heart-rate variability and resting heart rate never leave your device: they are processed on the phone and are excluded from syncing and from backups. Training data you choose to sync is stored by our hosting provider, Hetzner Online GmbH, in Germany, solely so we can return it to your own devices. Our product analytics provider receives no consumer health data of any kind: the events it can receive are a fixed list that carries no measurement, no exercise name and no identifier.

Sale of consumer health data

We do not sell consumer health data, and we will not. No valid authorization is sought because no sale takes place.

Your rights

If you are a Washington consumer, you have the right to confirm whether we are collecting, sharing or selling your consumer health data; to access it, including a list of anyone it has been shared with; to withdraw consent to its collection and sharing; and to have it deleted.

• Access: Settings → Your data → Export produces a complete file of everything held on your device, including the recovery readings we never receive.
• Withdraw consent: turn off the health-data permission in your phone's settings, or turn off syncing in the app. Either takes effect immediately.
• Delete: Settings → Your data deletes everything on the device. Settings → Account deletes your account and everything we hold. Deletions are removed from our backups within 30 days.
• By email: write to devlazarbusiness@gmail.com. We will respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need a further 45.

Appeal

If we refuse a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision or writing to devlazarbusiness@gmail.com with “Appeal” in the subject. We will respond within 45 days with our decision and the reasons for it. If we deny the appeal, you may complain to the Washington State Attorney General at atg.wa.gov/file-complaint.
